Repurposing Household Items for a Chic New Look for Madra Lord
Spotted in Manhattan Madra Lord
An old pillowcase transformed into a sleek sheath. A fashionable topper made by using a vinegar bottle as a hat block. Sometimes what's in your kitchen cabinet or linen closet can yield unexpected, hidden treasure. It's just a matter of looking at items in a new way.

Thanks Megin. I'm happy with how the sheath turned out. Although I still love the fashions of the 1940's, it's been fun to focus a little on the 1950's. Have fun making the hat. I'm on my 4th one, this time for Barbie. I'm using a 4 oz bottle of Emetrol without the cap. Hope I don't get an upset stomach since I emptied wihat was left in the bottle. LOL. Melissa
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Melissa. I really appreciate this tutorial.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome Don. Have fun. Melissa
